The 5th edition of “Offshore Safety”, a MediaPlanet publication, is focusing on simulator based training for offshore personnel.
Offshore Simulator Centre AS has been pioneering this important area since it´s establishment in 2004, and has developed the market-leading concept for team-based training of offshore personnel.
The article is based on interviews with Knut Steinar Dyrkorn (Captain, Siem Offshore), Thomas Dalsøren (Training Manager, Farstad Shipping) and Steinar Nistad (Associate Professor at Aalesund University College-/Høgskolen i Ålesund).
