OSC offers simulator products for Anchor Handling operations, PSV operations, Subsea- Rig- and Ship Crane/Lifting operations.
In addition, we deliver the Safer Deck Operations (SDO) “onboard trainer” and DP Visualization solutions.

Together with our partner UNITEST (www.unitest.pl) we can also deliver 3D Engine Room simulators that can be integrated with the OSC simulators.

Our simulators can be configured with a wide range of different display solutions, physical equipment and functionality depending on the training need. Our display solutions range from 360° field of vision (full “offshore bridge”), through several hemispherical “dome” configurations with up to 270° field of vision, to single or multiple LCD screen configurations.

Common to all our products is our Simulator Core, which can be configured to cover a wide range of training scenarios. 3D models of vessels, rigs, subsea templates, equipment etc. are coupled with advanced mathematical models that give realistic behaviour and reaction to environmental forces such as water, waves, current and wind, forces caused by propulsion/thruster systems or other loads from anchors, wires etc. The result is a very realistic training experience.

Our simulators allow "full mission" team training, where the entire ship crew can engage in the training scenarios. This includes bridge crew, deck personnel, engine room personnel, crane operators, winch operators etc. Whole teams can then be trained in performing complex operations, including incidents and emergency situations in which even stand-by vessels and on-shore emergency units may participate.

The simulation software allows for a variety of training, testing and evaluation scenarios. Instructors have full control over the exercises. Scenarios can be customised to support various types of offshore activities from rescue operations to advanced offshore installation, moving/towing and salvage operations.
